CONSENT FORM

FOR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

including recordings, photos, videos, contact details

by the European External Action Service (EEAS) and Union Delegations

In relation to the event “_EU-Rwanda Business Forum”, organised by the EEAS/EU Delegation to Rwanda, your personal data, including your name, contact details and administrative information are collected to facilitate your participation in the event/meeting, including in person or via videoconferencing tools, to implement organisational arrangements and your entry to the building or connection to the videoconference. The processing of personal data is necessary for the task carried out in the public interest for the management and functioning of the European External Action Service, as mandated by the EU Treaties.

The EEAS and EU Delegations, including Regional Teams of the Service of Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI)/INTPA of the European Commission, process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data. The Privacy Statement - Data Protection Notice contains information for participants about personal data processing.

During the event you may be photographed or filmed and your camera and microphone may be recorded. If you give your consent by written or oral statement, the EEAS or the Delegation of the European Union to Rwanda may disclose, publish, transmit or, if applicable, quote such material in activities intended for the public through communication channels of the EEAS (including social media accounts and channels) to promote EU values and disseminate information related to them.

You can withdraw consent any time and object to the processing of your data by indicating it to the organisers using the functional mailbox of the EEAS/EU Delegation Delegation-Rwanda@eeas.europa.eu. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing your data and using your consent before receiving your withdrawal. We will remove all available material and information within a reasonable time after the withdrawal.

In addition to personal data that we process for the purpose of organising the event, to enable your participation, in this consent form, you have the option to provide consent to either one or more personal data processing activities.
